Character Defense

It’s cute that someone would challenge my “people skills” (or “lack thereof”) based solely on my blog—something that is necessarily removed from true life. Written word is not the same as spoken word. Anyone will tell you that. If you actually believe that I function in society with the same “lack of people skills” which I use to amuse my friends here, then you are sadly mistaken. My misanthropy is distilled for effect. The blog is a vacuum, after all.

You don’t need to worry about me. I’m a decent guy in person.

IT’S JUST A BLOG. It doesn’t represent any manner of actual social graces! Jesus, can you imagine?! HAHA!!

So, once more: stop reading it if you don’t know me! And stop complaining to my real-life friends about it! Jesus Christ!

But fine, I will take a temporary reprieve from the rantings and steer in a new direction, one more palatable for those with weak constitutions or over-developed character judgment habits.

What shall we blog about? Budo? Religion? Lighthearted personal exploits? Harry Potter? What makes you comfortable? Because that’s what this is all about, isn’t it? My blog is about you, isn’t it?

Fuck me, this is exhausting. There are too many hands in the cookie jar. Ironically, it’s that inclination to satisfy my readers that generates these allegedly poor character traits in the first place. So you tell me. What should I blog about? HMM?
