Starbuck in the Fountain City
Starbuck was here this weekend. We did stuff. It was fun, but not as fun as it should have been; Dean and the lady were supposed to go high rolling with us, but she had family in town. Once again, our team efforts were thwarted.
Anyway, we watched Dead Man’s Chest and Advent Children, went exploring, went to several coffee shops, picnicked at the park, started a homeless rickshaw business, went high rolling at the plaza, took some great pictures, and ate some good food. Overall, Starbuck did a good job of contributing to May sweeps.
Saturday, in particular, was impressively compact. Most of the things I listed were done on Saturday. We went to the Overland Park Arboretum, but we were only able to explore about one third of the total area. We fought a Malboro and came out with only a few status ailments. At one point, she drank an Ent draught and grew taller than me. A tree actually swallowed us both at one point, but we managed to get out. Starbuck lost both her big toes from the ordeal, and I have a nifty vertical eye scar to show for my troubles. By the end of the night, we found ourselves in a showdown on the rooftop of one of the plaza parking garages with a bicycle cop. I jammed a shank into his spokes and he went flying over the ledge. Then Starbuck chased me up the construction cranes, where we had a spectacular final duel.
If only the whole summer could be as misadventurous as this… um, well, some of that might be slightly exaggerated. I guess you had to be there. Starbuck carpe-ed the crap out of that diem.

hmmm...it seems that this post has caused a dip in the ratings.

Not every guest star can be a "Brad Pitt comes over for Thanksgiving" I guess!

If that's what you think, then you're taking the "ratings" thing far too literally. The whole point is that a lot of out-of-the-ordinary crap seemed to be happening to me. Meaning, from MY point of view into my OWN life, I'm interested enough to not change the channel.
Ratings... I don't really give a crap HOW many people read this blog anymore. In fact, I'm reluctant to post a link to it on my MySpace page, just because I don't want a bunch of new people throwing off our rhythm! How ironic is that?

If there is a newcomer to this blog, they must be terribly confused by most of the content.
Me, me, me...
Me too!
The best part about being me... is that there are so many OF me!

Wait, what am I saying? Screw our rhythm. The blog has a mind of its own.

Apparently Starbuck has lost the ability to post comments.
It would appear that it is in fact Starbuck who has been killed off for May Sweeps.

Oh, and don't forget about that biker cop's Wilhelm scream. Ahh good times.

So... are you Bad Starbuck now?

Bad Starbuck?
Sounds like she's being admonished for going on the rug.
How about Evil Starbuck? Also, what makes you assume that it was the Good Starbuck that perished?
Perhaps it's merely Slightly Less Evil Starbuck that survived, and there never was a Good Starbuck in the first place! Or Good Starbuck was offed in a previous episode, and they're airing out-of-order?
Way to confuse your audience, jackass!
No wonder no one's watching...

The Captain raises an interesting point. Or does he??
Good, bad, I'm the guy with the gun.

The only thing the captain raises is awareness for multiple personality disorder.

Hey, if there's no telethon for it, how else will people know?
