A House in Armour Hills

I found an ad on Craigslist for a room in a house in Armour Hills, my single favorite residential area in the entire freakin’ KC region. Affordable rent in a Utopian location, geared towards grad students? They said it couldn’t be done. They said I’d never find a place in that area for my price range. They said I’d never have the demographic I wanted. They said I couldn’t have it all. They were WRONG. If only I had a good job opportunity in the area at the same time… oh, yes, anything’s possible.

This changes things. Obviously, I can’t take the deal, but the point is that it is possible to find such a living space for $500 a month or less. Until now, it was more of a daydream. Now I know what to look for when I finally have a career underway.
