Fall Break

Well, this weekend is a four-day weekend. If I can survive that long. (We have next Monday and Tuesday off.) I have accumulated so much crap to do that I had to cancel my plans to go to Washington, D.C. (sorry Andrew) and am staying here instead. I'm sure I might take a day or so off and go somewhere with a couple of the guys here.

What else is new? After months of resistance, I finally caved and joined Facebook... now I have completely been consumed by the internet communnication bug. Blogs... Instant Messaging... Facebook... I remember when I used to actually see people I talk to. I spend too much time checking people's blogs and facebook pages for new postings.

Next week is sightsinging midterms, so I will have students in and out of my office for a good chunk of that three-day week. Hence, I must work ahead on things. Meanwhile, I am already behind on other things. I love being a grad student.
